I left Denver on Monday with a plan to go hiking around Breckinridge, but it was 60 degrees and raining (isn't the West in a drought?!). I tried to go to Turquoise Lake and as soon as I got out of the car it started raining. SOOOooooo, I drove to Hanging Lake and hiked up the canyon. It ended up being awesomely beautiful. I really need a new adjective other than awesome for this trip.
